dorkbot anglia is a regular evening of talks and conversations with "people doing strange things with electricity" in the East Anglian area. We are delighted to announce our fifteenth meeting to be held on Friday 11th July as the guests of CSV Media, Ipswich. Free entry.

David Chatting of the Curiosity Collective will introduce:

  • Cad Taylor of CSV Media will tell us all about their new home and plans for the future.
  • Amanda Gower of Active Design Lab will describe the development of Ipswich Remixed, an interactive public art installation digitally embedded across the streets of Ipswich between 4th and 11th July.
  • Steve Chalkley of the Ipswich Makerspace will tell us all about their plans for a community workshop and their activities to date.
  • Tim Hunkin will talk about Novelty Automation (his London arcade opening next year) and particularly about the arcade machine kits he hopes to sell there.

Plus, "OpenDorks" (short ad-hoc slots for anyone to talk about their work).
