dorkbot anglia fourteen

Wednesday 9th April 2014, 7 - 9:30pm
The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich, NR2 1TF

dorkbot anglia is a regular evening of talks and conversations with "people doing strange things with electricity" in the East Anglian area. We are delighted to announce our fourteenth meeting to be held on Wednesday 9th April at The Forum, Norwich as the guests of Norwich Gaming Festival.

David Chatting of the Curiosity Collective will introduce:

  • Alastair Aitchison will demonstrate an autonomous computer-controlled entity that learns and evolves - and let's hope that he doesn't end up creating an electronic Dodo!
  • Lawrence Russell who will talk about the process of applying cheats to games, a reverse-engineering 101.
  • Mike Vanis who will discuss the development of the DIY Gamer Kit an Arduino based handheld games console.

Plus, "OpenDorks" (short ad-hoc slots for anyone to talk about their work).

Find out what happened at dorkbot anglia one (July 2010), two (September 2010), three (November 2010), four (February 2011), five (April 2011), six (June 2011), seven (November 2011), eight (March 2012), nine (June 2012), ten (February 2013), eleven (May 2013), twelve (August 2013) and thirteen (October 2013).
