Introduction

"Be creative."

"Use your imagination."

"Think of something new."

These are all lessons we teach our children: lessons we want them to carry into adulthood as essential skills for life. Now more than ever, our rapidly changing and technological world has made imagination necessary for a fulfilling life.

New technologies are endowing humanity with tremendous creative potential. To realize that potential, we must look to the most creative members of society - our children. This project teams renowned choreographers, artists, and composers with children, using advanced technology to discover new modes of creative expression as well as innovative uses of that technology.

The project started in January of 2001. The first, impressive, results of the project were already presented this Spring. (See the Project Updates for more information). Project results will spread widely: through small case initiatives in local communities, through high profile international presentations, and globally on the Internet and through widespread print and broadcast coverage.
