Class Demo Project 2


We actually started the class by finishing up some work on Class Demo Project 1, adding a video to the texture wrapping our 'object 1' to create a shimmering effect. I've linked the modified class demo project and some additional info links on that previous page.

Next we had fun building some terrains with the terrain editor and terrain tools package. God-like power! Cool looking scenes!

Finally I showed how the High Definition Render Pipeline can be set up, but only on fast Windows machines now. Our poor Macs can't handle the load. The new ones possibly can. There's a lot I don't know about the HRDF system, so perhaps there is a way to get it to fly. I'll be investigating it more -- the scenes it can produce really are impressive.
