Chris showed some of the snazzy stuff he's done with OpenMusic
in the past. Below are a few projects:
Links
31-tone organ
-- the Fokker Organ housed in the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, controlled
by OpenMusic through its MIDI interface.
COGNITIVE CONSONANCE
-- Chris's work with Turkish tuning and the Qanun instrument.
He also demoed the Modalys
physical-modelling system he used to realize the virtual sounds.
Quid Sit Musicus
-- an OpenMusic piece done by Philippe Leroux using a stylus that
captured data from Machaut's notation.
OMlibraries.zip
-- various OpenMusic libraries to do things. Here are the
notes I scribbled about how to install them:
download library, putting into OM 6.8 application/libraries
then in the OM prefs go to Libraries to add it in
then under the "functions" menu you should see the new library stuff
