Programming: Minim and Synchresis
- Basics about libraries
- What's Minim? What can Minim do?
- Here's Minim's basic reference. Also on this website are references for all Minim objects.
- Here's Dan Ellis' Minim examples. They are more advanced and might be interesting for more advanced programmers.
- Here are the patches we went over in class
- Synchresis- analyzing existing audio-visual works to figure out what works and what doesn't.
Assignment: DUE Wednesday Feb 27th
Come up with a concept for an audio-visual work. Think about what would make you as an audience member interested (or bored) and try to follow those intuitions. Also conceive of this concept realistically- think how you will execute it and make a mockup or prototype as proof-of-concept.
Have fun and email us with questions if you have them!
