(Please note that you do not need to purchase the "Gen" aspect of Max6.)  If you want to get your feet wet before next week, you can start the MaxMSP and Jitter Tutorials offered with the software.  They are pretty straightforward and a great way to get familiar with the software.

Assignment:
Make a short movie (less than 1 minute) using either Quicktime7 Pro or the image2movie.maxpat that is available in your Max download (Applications/Max6/examples/jitter-examples/demos/image2movie.maxpat). Bring your assignment to class and be ready to present it!
