3-Ambient-Guitara

hardware:   Apple MacBook M4 Air, Karl Fury's guitars (see below*)
software:   Apple Logic Pro X, paulstretch

These were very easy to do. I took the original sound from Karl's pieces, and then layered on processing (time-stretching, echo, filtering, reverb). It was really quite enjoyable -- I would simply try out various settings on the DSP plugins, sit back and listen. There was some hazy numerological reason, I think, for the pieces all being 21:08 long, but I forgot what it might have been.

They are titled ambient "guitara" because "guitara" is the word Karl used. At first I thought it may have referred to one or more of his unique home-built/modified instruments (he has some amazing ones), but I think instead it was just the fun of using an archaic plural.

*Something about us musicians, we often like to list what we used to create our compositions. All of these "commentary" files have that as a feature. I guess we're total gear-heads at heart. Karl listed the following on his bandcamp page for the original piece:

1st section bowed acoustic guitar.
2nd section processed electric guitar and six string bass with synths.
3rd section e-bowed electric guitar, six string bass and synths
