Hristoula Haraka, was born in Connecticut and received her B.F.A in dance from the "Niki Kodaxaki School of Dance" in Athens, Greece. She also received the Advanced Certificate of the Royal Academy of London. She has been at the Merce Cunningham Studio since 1996 as a recipient of the Alexander Onassis Foundation and the Merce Cunningham Dance Foundation scholarships. She has performed throughout Greece with the Niki Kodaxaki Dance Company and with Analysis Dance Company in New York.
