Bernd Burgmaier was born in 1978. He trained for six years at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany. He has also trained for two years at the IWANSON SCHOOL in Munich and performed with the company. In September, 1998, he arrived in New York City. He is currently a scholarship student at the Merce Cunningham Dance School and performing with Ellen Cornfield.
