Robin Bargar
At the National Center for Supercomputing Applications Robin Bargar
co-founded the Audio Development Group and directed the development of VSS,
sound synthesis software for composition and performance in virtual
environments. His work has appeared in the computer music and computer
graphics communities including the SIGGRAPH Electronic Theater, MTV Liquid
Television, ISEA, Imagina, and ICMC. Honors include Finalist at the 1991
Bourges Electro-Acoustic Music Competition, and a 1995 Academy Award
Nomination for Best Short Animated Film. He is currently Research Scientist
at NCSA and Director of the Integration Support Laboratory, Beckman
Institute, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
