Gary James Joynes (aka Clinker) will discuss and demonstrate the conceptual design and technological solutions which have fuelled the completion of his new Audio/Image Sound Wave Installation entitled FREQUENCY PAINTING: 12TONES. In advance of the world-premiere of his new work in January 2011, Joynes' will present the custom arduino circuits which run the audio portion of the installation, and will show the finished sound sculpture images for the very first time. For the past 8-months he has worked closely with software/hardware engineer Dr. Scott Smallwood on 12 sonar proximity controlled self-modulating sine tone frequency machines which are the heart of the system.
