Who Presented:
Digital Homesteading presented by Mikey Sklar - Mikey lives in Truth or Consequences and has been homesteading there for the last two years. He produces his own power, fuel, food, water and building materials. Mikey will be explaining how a little bit of embedded hardware development can empower anyone interested in getting back to the land. Projects such as grease car temperature displays, irrigation moisture monitors, pulsed LED growlights, using machines to build with trash, and repairing different battery chemistries. This will be Mikey's fourth dorkbot presentation.
