Sound Art
We're not really going to talk much about contemporary composition/music today -- that's a tremendous
topic that would take years... Instead we'll focus somewhat narrowly on "sound art": works
with a strong sonic element that are not presented in traditional musical contexts.
So here's a somewhat arbitrary and very incomplete, but reasonably diverse, sampling of "sound art":

Intro to Arduino: electronic control
We'll take a quick look at the popular Arduino electronics prototyping platform. We'll hook up some motors, relays, switches, etc. to get a feel for what's possible with minimal electronics/programming knowledge.
