Don't forget that after selecting an object you can command-d (on mac) on it and get the documentation which can help you find your way pretty quickly. If you command-d without selecting anything you will get the general help for SC. If you're new to this program or programming in general I recommend "Getting Started with SC". It goes over many of the basic things we did in class and much more.
