RTcmix basics
RTcmix time! We'll also be hitting aspects of digital signal processing
and synthesis (like WAVETABLE, etc.). The main thing is to get across
the different constructions used in RTcmix to accomplish musical
tasks. Today we focused on control tables and waveform tables.
Links
- older 'resources' page
-- this is an on-line resource page for some of our older grad seminars.
Some of the links are broken, but some may be useful for additional
information (like some of the the "Basic Synthesis" links).
- Who Was Fourier?
-- several of you were interested in learning more about the Fourier
transform. This is that fun book I mentioned, it's one of the best
explanations I've found of how the math works.
There was also a lot of interest expressed in learning C coding.
I found a few on-line links that seem good (and also thanks
Huey-meei for scoping these out too). I'll stash these
on our
resources page also.
