RTcmix beta documentation
RTcmix in context!
what fun!
Here are the packages we discussed in class, using the cross-platform
wxwindows
window/graphics system:
- wxwindows-base.tar.gz
-- a very basic "skeleton" for doing RTcmix/wxwindows work
- lsystem1.tar.gz
-- simple lindenmayer-system app that just does the graphics
- lsystem2.tar.gz
-- simple lindenmayer system with audio realization of the
graph using RTcmix WAVETABLE instrument. A timer puts
little green squares up sequentially, and WAVETABLE notes
get scheduled based on how many of the l-system lines are
in each square
- lsystem3.tar.gz
-- simple lindenmayer system with audio realization of the
graph using RTcmix WAVETABLE instrument, this time short-duration
(grains) RTcmix WAVETABLE notes get scheduled by interpreting
the l-system graph as a direct frequency graph
- lsystem4.tar.gz
-- same as lsystem3, except now the graph controls
continuously-executing WAVETABLE instruments (no longer
granular). The MYWAVETABLE instrument included in this
package implements this
- drawsound.tar.gz
-- a modification of lsystem4 that interprets
user-drawing instead of a pre-computed lindenmayer system
And just for fun:
- fredspace.tar.gz
-- OpenGL/X11 realization of a very crude approximation
of Fred's pitch-space stuff
