Assignment

• [rtcmix~] -- download at least one version of this object to use with Max/MSP or pd on Windows or OSX.
• Max/MSP or pd (Pure Data) -- the [rtcmix~] object will run in one of these. Max/MSP is more robust (a lot of extended capabilities that pd does not have), but it costs money. There are good student discounts available. pd is free. note: you do not need RNBO for this class if you are purchasing Max/MSP.
• Unity -- you won't need this until late in the semester, but feel free to go ahead and explore it and the tutorials whenever you'd like. They're fun!

  to get the package. It uses the "Unity Hub" to manage your Unity downloads and projects; it's up to you if you want to use it. The place to get direct standalone Unity (no Unity Hub) or older versions of Unity is here:

  Be sure (when asked) to say you are using the "personal" version for free. The others cost money and are mainly used if you are developing a product with Unity.
