1. Download and compile the latest 'standalone' RTcmix.
2. The executable command "CMIX" will be located in the RTcmix/bin
directory.
3. Start up the CMIX process by invoking that executable:
CMIX -c
the "-c" flag specifies that it should listen for CMIX score information
on the OSC port. The current port is 8080 (we will most likely make this
a command-line option in the near future).
4. Prior to sending any CMIX scores through the OSC port, you will
need to configure RTcmix with the sampling rate and number of
channels, and you will need to 'load' any instruments you will be
using in your score(s). Send (for example) the following text to the RTcmix
OSC port:
rtsetparams(44100, 2)
load("WAVETABLE")
load("STRUM2")
This would set RTcmix to work with a 44.1k sampling rate, 2 channels. It
would also load the "WAVETABLE" and "STRUM2" instruments for use.
