OpenMusic basics
Introduction to OpenMusic, basic patch operations, use of MIDIshare
for auditioning music.
OpenMusic is a CAC (computer-aided composition) language/environment.
It grew from an earlier IRCAM project called "PatchWork", which
also spawned the
PWGL
project. Although we won't be showing too many examples in class,
the newer
BACH project
shows much promise as a contemporary CAC language/environment.
