I was describing in my
blog
how I was trying to imitate the sound of wind soughing
through pine boughs, and Chris Bailey sent a link to part of a
piece (actually part of his
doctoral dissertation
at Columbia)
that had some soughing-like sounds in the background. Not quite the pines
I was a-pinin' for, but I really loved the sounds. So I stole them, and
remixed them into this piece:
It's a fairly slow-moving, static piece. The night before I did this one
I was listening to Gregory Taylor's
RTQE on-line radio show
and was reminded how much I enjoy slow-moving staticness.
Here's a link to the section of music that Chris had sent me:
Thanks, Chris!
