This was the first of a series of "remixes" I did. This was also
a Christmas present for Luke DuBois, Steven Kreiger and the
FEQ crew. Dang I forgot which FEQ CD it came from. If any of you
FEQ-folk read this, let me know.
I think Steven liked the drums I added towards the end. If I recall
he did a remix of this song with some heavier drums like this for
a later FEQ CD (again I'm not sure which one). I love the sequence
on the CMC Serge modular system that Luke uses. There are words in
this one, my voice (totally warped). I think they're something like
it's difficult
it's very hard
isn't it?

The phrase "and there you have it" was one of Thanassis Rikakis' favorites.
The long tones during part of the piece were done using Luke's
SGI/RTcmix port of my
looching
application. Just for the record, I think "pianophage" is one amazingly
cool name for a song.
