This was a fun piece to do. Imagining and realizing different ways of electronically orchestrating the chords was a nice sonic engagement. It was also good for my state-of-mind. While partway through the piece, I travelled back to Indiana to meet with Brenda and John to make the final 'big clean' of our Wood Lake home before the estate-sales people and house cleaners came in. Yeah, just a little emotionally intense...

As I said in the original commentary for this piece (linked below -- I'm writing this additiional stuff a few months later when I'm finally getting around to including it on my music web page), I'm pretty happy with the results. One thing: When I put it 'out there' for people to hear, pinging my collection of friend-emails and linking it on FaceBook (my two Big Giant ways of reaching people!), a lot of people listened to each of the smaller pieces and neglected to note that the "actual" piece, 43 minutes long, was linked at the top. A number wrote to me saying "wow, I'd love to hear these all together." I put in a note on the piece web page saying the assembled work was linked towards the top. So there you go.
