After spending some time with Jill at a conference and falling head-over-heels
in love with her, I went back to our studio in West Lafayette, Indiana and
recorded this piece. Jill's doctoral research was on the acoustic
reflex, so the 'hair cells' were a thing. I don't know if this was the
best woo-ing/romantic move I could have made, but apparently it worked!
I played all the instruments. This was before I jumped into the
digitial world.
