The original program note pretty much says it. I have vague recollections
of parts of my hospital stay. Probably the high point came when I awoke
after surgery on a full ventilator machine. I have a vague memory of
seeing my family standing in the corner while I was strapped into this
mechanical breathing device: (said in a Darth Vader-like
voice)"Lian, Daniel . . . I am your father!"
This was my first foray into using max/msp as a signal processing
environment for my pieces. I was really impressed. I also used AudioSculpt
because it seemed like a good thing to do. It wasn't all that good.
