Roosevelt Arts Project
Art Walk 2016

Hunter Ellentuck organized a snazzy outdoor event for the 2016-17 season of the Roosevelt Arts Project (RAP), our 'vehicle' for artists/poets/musicians/etc. in town to present their work. The day started rainy and blustery, but by the time the Roosevelt Woodland Trail opened up for the show all was good. Jill put a lot of her pottery work along the trail, and I contributed a sound installation with some speakers hidden on the far side of Empty Box Creek. The sounds were algorithmically generated throughout the two hours of the event.

I did some 'audio documentation' of my installation and the general environment. A short excerpt featuring the sounds is here:

I'm walking along the path, and I encounter people in some of the above recordings. You can hear it! It's documentation! My installation sounds start about a minute in on the first and third recordings and right at the beginning of the second one.
