French Overture (2016) (9:10) consists of seven sections and is organized in a symmetrical fashion, that is, A1-B1-C1-C2-D1-B2-A2. As the title suggests, the outer sections, A1 and A2, are slow and dotted rhythms are present in their electronics parts.
Lindenmeyer systems are extensively used for the transformations of pitch-class sets and the generation of melodies and motives. The systems are implemented in my own computer program for algorithmic composition written in Java.
The program generated score files for the sound synthesis and processing software "RTcmix" and its instruments of channel vocoder, additive synthesis, and various filter instruments processed the piano sounds and produced all the synthesized sounds.
